Digitize to Host the Virtual War Memorial of Australia

Digitize are thrilled to announce that we have been selected as the new website hosting provider for the Virtual War Memorial of Australia (VMWA). This is a great honor for us and we are committed to providing VMWA with the highest level of support and performance for its website.

VWMA is the only national digital memorial dedicated to honouring the service and sacrifice of those who served the nation in times of war and armed conflict over the last 124 years. VWMA provides an open collaborative platform which allows families, researcher, students and communities to research, create and contribute stories of the ordinary men and women whose service to the nation was extraordinary, into the dedicated tribute profiles. With just under 1.6 million individual profiles and a range of historical and support materials featured on the site, it is an outstanding and continually growing collection and the place for the Australian public to commemorate and honour family heroes.

With Digitize as the new hosting provider, the VMWA website will benefit from the latest in website hosting technology, including high-speed server configurations, advanced security measures, and 24/7 support. These enhancements will ensure that the website is fast, secure, and always accessible to the public.

We are confident that this partnership will underpin the long-term success of the Virtual War Memorial of Australia and we look forward to helping to make it an even more valuable resource for the users of the collection.
